10 healthy habits anyone can follow…

I was inspired to learn these habits after watching a practicing Armenian Orthodox woman’s video. They’re simple, easy to adopt, and offer valuable insight into our own habits. I’ve broken them down and added my own perspectives.

Many of these traits I’ve seen firsthand in my neighbor’s family and in my Italian family, both who fled tyrannical regimes. Despite their struggles, the love and beauty they display towards each other and those outside their family cannot be ignored. This aligns with the article, “family” (upcoming on September 21, 2026) which explores the true meaning of family and how to build strong bonds like theirs.

These people are a powerful testimony to the resilience of once-oppressed people – the strength of the human soul that can endure hardships yet rise up with their culture still intact. It is something we in the West have not yet experienced. Yet we seek it, as exemplified in the number of people who share their longing for finding happiness and purpose in the midst of a culture filled with conflicting opinions on these subjects:

  • Minimalism.
  • Finding happiness in being self-employed.
  • Freedom from restraints.
  • Setting boundaries and time limits.
  • Seeking goals and systems to regulate busy lives.

All of it. None of it fulfills that inner longing quite like these 10 simple habits. Finding the key requires pausing to see the world differently…
