The birds sing;
Flowers bloom;
Life in full swing.
Insects buzz;
Grass is mowed;
The mating calls
Of the resident toad.
Chickens with chicks;
New fawns and momma deer;
Heat is coming;
Summer nearly here;
But for now I will enjoy
The cool and shady breeze;
Crystal blue skies and
Dappled sunlight under trees.
