In the late 1970s, computers began entering business and personal life, but the internet and mobile devices did not yet exist. Banks started automating with ATMs, and people regarded these large machines and computers with awe.
This technology was limited to institutions; the general public remained largely unaware and unaffected.
Maureen was at the forefront of this technological revolution, which would soon become a pivotal moment in history—marking the clash between innovation and human ingenuity, machine versus man.
In the beginning years…
Maureen trained users in CAD across the US for a major Alabama-based company. During one trip, she trained experienced manual draftsmen to transition from pen and Mylar to CAD. The impact was profound.
She soon realized that years of expertise and individual style were being replaced by conformity, undermining their pride and human dignity. The rise of computers simplified tasks but also degraded the value of mastered skills, fostering uniformity at the expense of creativity.
A very important shift has occurred in this modern age. And it has overtaken the meaning of simply being a person.

The purpose of this mission…
Technology should serve humans, and companies exist to provide for the community. Yet, consumerism has distorted this view. The human connection has blurred as corporations grow, prioritizing profit over individual well-being. People are reduced to statistics, exploited as mere operators rather than creative artisans with valuable experience. Massive marketing fuels insatiable consumerism, diverting focus from life’s true needs.
But we remain human, craving simplicity and dignity. It’s time to reclaim our worth, recognize our shared humanity, and reconnect with our purpose. This site aims to help us rediscover life’s meaning, restore human dignity, and unite with others on the same journey.
We invite you to share your story and support the preservation of human dignity.
