After nearly 35 years in the computer field, I finally was freed. Freed from the corporate demands, the endless meetings, frustrating ever commutes, meaningless rules and unreasonable coworkers, and the corrosive, impossible deadlines determined by unreasonable management.
When a financial opening came to be, I jumped ship and never looked back.
It was the best decision I ever made.
There is no other word for being freed from the pressure of other people’s dreams.
Except freedom.
Now I can make my own dreams come true.
It isn’t about the money. But it about making life simple again. Back to basics. Stepping outside the world and into the silence of the heart.
