When lo the darksome creature waits
And shows the world his ugly face;
When all the land in darkness still
Beneath the tyrant’s reign and will,
Shall then a Light in greatness shine,
The twinkling glimmers of Divine;
For when darkness proves its own self-worth,
Then Light shines brightest in the dearth.
The smallest light doth shine and glow
And fills the darkness to its woe.
Evil cannot win, it has no Love
For that gift alone is from Above.
So when around you darkness looms,
Rise yourself above the gloom;
For salvation draws very nigh
When things look grim and start to die.
Just wait and watch – The darkness flees
As Faith brings evil to its knees.
